About the Role
Pistosis is looking for an individual to join their Product Development Team by acting as a Product Owner on a cross-functional scrum team. This person will be responsible for working with the scrum team on developing new features and functionality, as well as supporting existing applications, features, and functionality. They will assist in the management of a backlog of technology priorities including bugs, blue-line IT projects, and new feature development to deliver high-quality, technology solutions while meeting internal and/or external deadlines.The Product Owner will also be responsible for: Grooming:Translate Business (Operations, Contact Center, Treasury Management, Legal, Internal Audit, BD, IT/PMO) requests into user stories.Document functional and non-functional requirementsDocument user story and acceptance criteria to integrate with quality assurance test plans and cases.Identify Business deadlines and priorities to ensure alignment with IT/PMODevelopment Cycle Management:Work on cross functional scrum team to develop high quality, releasable software that delivers value to the businessCommunicate project status, changes & deadlines to both IT and Business leadership with support of Product OwnersRemove roadblocks/impediments for scrum team through constant collaboration with IT & Business.Release Cycle Management:Document release notes for user stories being released to productionCoordinate user acceptance testing with Business to ensure release to productionAssist with release cycle process including test plans, user sign off and user acceptance testing.Iteration Reporting:Report iteration metrics to Lead Product OwnerProvide analytical reporting for discussion in team retrospective meetingsWork with Product Development Team to continuously improve the organizations process for software development
Requirements
2-5 years of experience working as a Product Owner.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Experience working on a cross-functional scrum team.
Comfortable being the liaison between the business and the IT department.
Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience
