About the Role
Pistosis is seeking a Salesforce Solutions Architect to join a top consulting companies internal IT team for a custom development feature. The feature functions similar to CPQ so exposure to pricing or CPQ is an asset. The successful candidate needs to know how Apex works, lightening web components (LWC), how pricing engines work, and how approval engines work. This is an internal platform that provides pricing analysis before the business lines commit to engagements. This will be a highly technical and collaborative role. The successful Architect will come from a strong coding and development background with at least 4 years of most recent experience being in an architectural role. The Architects typical day is 100% architecting, daily discussions with developers, guide them through any challenges, need hands on coding experience, if developers are stuck, architect needs to help, etc. The candidate will be working in an Agile/Scrum environment with other Architects across ITS, other applications like EDFW, ED Edge, data warehousing teams, working in collaboration with those architects to come to solutions.
Requirements
Masters in Computer Science or equivalent working experience
10-15 years of direct experience in software development using Java/J2EE, Spring or other Object Oriented programming languages
8+ years of HCL Commerce development using technologies such as IBM WebSphere Administration, Search server/SOLR, JSP, EJBs, JSTL, data models etc.
Experience working in HCL Commerce v9 container based architecture is preferred
Experience with core software/applications IBM MQ, IBM DB2, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Eclipse IDE, Spring Tool Suite, and Subversion
Experience with web technologies JSON, SOAP/REST, Groovy, Ansible, Spring, XML Experience developing with JavaScript, CSS and HTML
Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices including Agile, continuous integration methodologies, and project lifecycles models
Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
Ability to conduct research into application development issues and products
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Ability to provide 24 X 7 support
